A textile graduate from Manchester School of Art, my practise throughout my studies focused on using embroidery and mixed media to narrate natural curiosities within the world around me. Combining these techniques with my love of material experimentation led to the creation of contemporary, tactile fabric designs. I find inspiration among subjects that celebrate bright and bold colours as well as extravagant shape and form.

Since leaving university I have embarked on my journey as a freelance artist, with the hope to combine my love of intricate avant-garde fashion with the world of community and carnival arts. Within the world of carnival I have had to adapt my style to work on large scale and mass, I love the challenge of upscaling whilst keeping my original identity and integrity. I intend to delve deeper into the world of carnival and street theatre, producing work that combines my love of carnival, costume and couture.
